Elevation Polish Ama Dablam! Such an amazing glitter bomb! Pictured above is three coats of very, very dense glitter. This has copper round glitter, holographic teal hex glitter, teal square glitter, copper microglitter, and multicolored microglitter, resulting in making your nails look like the prettiest mosaics.
I opted out of using a base color for this because it was so dense, but if you do prefer a base color, check out Lulu’s post here!
From Lulu’s website:
“Ama Dablam means ‘mother’s necklace’; the long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother (ama) protecting her child, and the hanging glacier thought of as the dablam, the traditional double-pendant containing pictures of the gods, worn by Sherpa women. Ama Dablam hugs the eastern sky for anyone trekking to the Mount Everest base camp.”
Ama Dablam is a LIMITED EDITION charity polish that will retail for $12 (shipping included) on Elevation Polish’s May 7th restock. ALL of the $12 will be donated to the Nepalese Children’s Education Fund which helps to put disadvantaged Nepalese children through education. For more information, check out Lulu’s blog and the Elevation Polish website.
This polish was gifted to me.

Maybelline Color Show Crushed Candy is part of a new line of Maybelline polishes! I found mine in a wall display at Walgreens.
Crushed Candy is a vibrant, vibrant, VIBRANT pink jelly with bits of blue and silver microshimmer. It is fairly opaque with two coats and was easy to apply. I love this shade, but it has been done before. If you have L’Oreal Pink Shells from released last spring/summer, you don’t need this.
Crushed Candy is available at Walgreens for $5.99. The bottles, although pretty, are pretty small and contain only .23 fl oz (7 mL) which makes them only a bit larger than a standard mini bottle. Some of the colors are pretty, but have been seen before.

I layered SoFlaJo Pink Lady over Crushed Candy. It was the most perfect base since it was late and I didn’t have the patience to deal with making jellies opaque. Pink Lady is a member of the Happy Hour collection from SoFlaJo.
Pink Lady is a pink tinted jelly with round, bar, and kite glitters. Pictured above is one coat. I found that it was difficult to fish out the kite glitters since they seemed to sink to the bottom really fast. Despite this, Pink Lady is an awesome glitter topper and is a must have for pink lovers.
SoFlaJo lacquers retail for $5 for a mini bottle and $10 for a full sized bottle from Jody’s website. Check out her three collections! I will have two more colors up soon :)

Hand Cream Quest (HCQ) is a journey on which I embark to find the perfect hand cream… not too thick, not too light, not too greasy, not too dry, not too fragranced, and most importantly, incredibly moisturizing! I will judge based on price, packaging, texture, absorbance, scent, the Zoo Factor (a combination of all the above + staying power + working at a zoo), and Acetone Addict (does it moisturize after acetone usage?).
If you feel that a product should be considered for my HCQ, please send me an email at paulina@thegoreprincess.com and I will add it to my to try/to buy list! To view other hand creams on my quest, click here!

Price: Pai Fragonia & Sea Buckthorn Instant Hand Therapy Cream retails for $25 for 1.7 fl. oz from the manufacturer’s website or from Spirit Beauty Lounge.
Packaging: This hand cream comes in a cylindrical bottle with a pump. It’s different from most hand creams, which usually come in tubes or jars. One downside to this packaging is that it’s really bulky. If you have a thin purse, it will make it bulge out a bit. Also, you can’t really tell how much is left in the bottle and it doesn’t look like you can dismantle it to reach the last little bits.
Texture & absorbance: This lotion is light and absorbs quickly. A nickel-sized amount gives good coverage to my hands.
Scent: The scent is kind of funky. I can’t quite place it, but it’s not really nose catching. It’s not terrible by any means, but it’s not really a fragrance. Looking at the ingredients doesn’t help either. Must be a mixture of all the oils in the cream.
Zoo Factor: The lotion is like a lighter version of the Winterwind Farm Hand Cream. It absorbs more readily and is less greasy. If you don’t do heavy duty, hand intensive labor, this is probably a better pick for you!
Acetone Addict: If your hands are looking a little dry after removing and polishing, this is a great hydrator.
Buy it again? I’m not sure. I’m a little torn. I have found other hand creams that do an equally good job, or better for cheaper. $25 for 1.7 fl. oz is a lot, and the packaging, although nice, isn’t very practical. I do like that the ingredients are all natural and vegan though. No parabens or nasty stuff in this cream.

Ozotic High Impact Holographic 617 lives up to its name. It’s a high impact, bright blue holographic. This isn’t your standard PITA linear holographic, like say GOSH Holographic. It’s diffused like the A England or Catherine Arley holos, but what makes this different from A England or Catherine Arley is that there are little holographic flecks along with holographic pigments.
Application was absolutely flawless. It wasn’t runny or thick and was opaque in two coats with a fast dry time.

Ozotic is available from Llarowe, Ninja Polish, Overall Beauty, Harlow & Co., and the piCture pOlish/Ozotic website. Prices will vary from site to site!
