Julep Viola & Bobbie Glaze Weng Weng

Julep Viola

Julep Viola is a super vampy, purple-y red creme. It applied nice and smoothly, but needed two coats for full opacity. The first coat showed more of the red, while the second made it extremely dark. It’s one of those almost black shades. It’s pretty. This is pictured with no topcoat.

Julep Viola is available from Julep for $14! If you are a Julep Maven, you get 20% off all products and free shipping. For more information on the Maven program, click here!

I’m on a layering kick so… of course I had to add something to it!

Bobbie Glaze Weng Weng!!! Oh my goodness. This is so pretty!!! It’s a black-purple holographic duochrome! Whew, what a mouthful! The purple flashes are only visible when light shines on it, but it is still so pretty. It’s not super holographic like Nfu Oh or the China Glaze OMGs, but rather a softer scattered holo.

This is only one coat of Glaze Weng Weng. It seemed a bit thin in the bottle so I layered it over Viola, but the base of Glaze Weng Weng is opaque enough to cover up any Viola peaking through.

Bobbie is a brand found in the Philippines. A friend picked a few of these up for me when she was last there. Thank you so much to Kitty Polish ‘n’ Bags for this!
