Yeah, what a mouthful! The new Milani Rockstar Heavy Glitter collection popped up at my local CVS last week. I’d sworn off buying more nail polish, but I couldn’t help myself. They were just so pretty and sparkly!

Here are a few swatches of the first one I tried, Silver Dazzle.

The nail polish display advertises this as a one coat glitter, but I could still see my nail line through it with one coat. Shown above is two coats.

It’s REALLY sparkly because it’s a polish that’s completely glitter. When I say completely glitter, I mean lots of big silver glitters and lots of little black glitters. Really, really pretty though. The above photo is with flash, so it’s a lot brighter than it is in real life. It looks more like sparkly asphalt and is super gritty.

This photo more accurately depicts the color of the polish. It was taken under bathroom lighting.

I decided to add a topcoat to get rid of some of the grittiness and add a little extra shine to the sparkle. The result is a lot better than the polish without. It’s shiny and even more sparkly.

And of course, the obligatory blurry photo to show exactly how sparkly this baby is. MEGA SPARKLES for MEGA GLITTER.

And lastly… the polish in daylight with three coats of topcoat. I really love it.

You can pick this up at your local CVS! I got two others, Gems (supposedly a Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday duplicate) and Blue Flash (sparkly blue glitter).
